The Fur Jacket Goes Pastel For Holiday 2017

For anyone who is wondering how to bundle up this season without losing their passion for colour, the fur jacket just may be a trend to embrace. Whether you’re a fan of fluffy pink or soft yellow, pastel tones are gradually infusing their way into the trend of furry outerwear. From Nina Ricci to Sies Marjan, try drawing your inspiration from the Fall 2017 runways. We’ve curated a few stylish ways to embrace this catwalk trend today.

Nina Ricci

If you’re feeling pretty in pink, this particular look may inspire your style. Try slipping into a three quarter length fluffy coat in a rich blush hue. Layering your outerwear over a lacy blouse and a sequined midi skirt helps to wrap up your ensemble. Whether it’s a holiday party or an evening with your girlfriends, pink fur or pink faux fur can help to instantly brighten your outfit.

Miu Miu

At Miu Miu, a mint green shade stole the spotlight. Swap your usual brown or black fur for a sea foam or aquatic shade. The elaborate statement collar and hood helps to create an eye-catching finish, while the plush exterior of the coat is ladylike and chic. Try taking your cues from this runway look, and tossing the coat on over a playful printed jumpsuit.

Sies Marjan

The magenta tone at Sies Marjan will light up even the darkest of dreary wardrobes. With its punchy colour, this cropped jacket looks girlish and sweet worn over a silky skirt and button-down blouse. If you are aiming for a monochromatic look, coordinating pink pieces can help to accessorize and refresh a fuchsia or magenta plush coat.
